We have a server that has 2 CPUs as below:

Per dmidecode:

Core Count: 10

Core Enabled: 10

Thread Count: 20

Characteristics:

64-bit capable

Multi-Core

Manufacturer: Intel

Core Count: 10

Core Enabled: 10

That shows dual CPU 10 cores each.

The question is whether or not a following method of disabling cores is allowed in order to reduce a licensing cost:
