Update Opportunity - Quotes

Is anyone awre of the reason why the Update Opportunity button on Quote Header only updates the Product & Revenue tab and not the Revenue value on Opportunity Header?

We are in process of customizing this to but just wanted to know am i missing something here as why would OOB functionality miss this?
