4GT implementation unsure if its affecting the stability of database

Hello All,

I have implemented 4GT configuration on a windows 2003 32bit server in order to help Oracle DB over come memory problems. Unfortunately, i think that this change has created new problems in the platform level.

What i would like to clear is, if the DB is free of problems before i start looking on my speculation.

Attached i have the alert_log of my DB and on Wed Jul 09 from 1400 hours i can see that the DB is shutting down two times, but due to my inexperience i cant see anything wrong.

I would like to point out also that the problem of I'm experiencing is, that I'm unable to log-in the machine due to windows error event id 1053 "windows cannot determine the user or computer name. (not enough storage is available to complete this operation. )" and hence i have to hard reboot the system.

Howdy, Stranger!
