Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. gzip append .gz after .gz

I patched OS level from Generic_144488-04 to Generic_150400-10. After that, I found that gz will append a .gz on the current gz file,

ie message.gz.gz.

# gzip -f messges.gz

messages.gz.gz

Is it a norm behaviour for gz after the kernel patch has been updated to 150400-10 (Solaris 10)?

Pls advise.
