Authentication in Mobile Open UI

We are implementing Siebel Sales Mobile Open UI in connected mode on Siebel 8.1.1.11.  Would like to know the different types of Authentication supported in Mobile Open UI.

We are using a custom authentication to authenticate the user with NT id. Wanted to know if custom Authentication works with Mobile Open UI.
