Accounting for Royalty

Hi,

For items for which one needs to pay a royalty for its usage, how can the accounting be handled. For example when we buy such items and receive them the PO Deliver to Inventory event class should not just show Dr - Inventory , Cr - Receiving inspection. We need to have another line for royalty as we cannot debit the entire amount to inventory account. So I would like to know how can we handle this kind of royalty accounting? One way would be of modifying the SLA to create a csutom journal line type for royalty. But is
