12.2.3 Upgrade Fails on czsdlktx.ldt

We are performing an upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to 12.2.3 for CRP testing.  We have followed the 11i to 12.2 upgrade guide as well as note 1586214.1 and 1617461.1.

The note 1617461.1 was updated today with new instructions for applying R12.AD.C.Delta.5 and R12.TXK.C.Delta.5.  As we were at the upgrade step where we were instructed by the upgrade document to apply the most recent AD and TXK updates we followed the instructions for PATH A in Note 1617461.1 to apply these delta.5 patches.  We noticed however that steps had been removed from the end of PATH A (see prior version of note 1617461.1 from July 1st, 2014 for AD.C and TXK.C Delta4).  Because PATH A no longer included instructions to instantiate template files or synchronize the file systems using fs_clone we did not perform those steps. We believe that not performing these steps is now causing us an error when applying the 12.2.3
