Does BIP also get upgraded to 10.1.3.4.2 automaticlly during BIEE upgrade?

Hi Experts

When we upgrade BIEE from 10.1.3.4.1 to 10.1.3.4.2

Does BIP also get upgraded to 10.1.3.4.2 automaticlly during BIEE upgrade?

if no,to make BIP upgarade to 10.1.3.4.2

then we need to apply patch 17045697,After patch applied, follow

"2. Upgrade Instructions for Oracle BI Publisher Enterprise Update 10.1.3.4.x" on Note#797057.1

to do the upgrade,correct?
