MinMax planning report

We run Min-Max planning report to order inventory and I am trying to understand the ‘Supply Cut-off date’ and ‘Demand cut-off date’ parameters functionality. For example for one item if I put these dates 1 month in advance I am getting it on the report to re-order even though they are on order for max quantity on a Release. If I run it putting the dates 2 months in advance then I don’t get them on report which is correct.

We are not sure how to figure out the correct parameters so the inventory is replenished correctly.
