We are planning to apply the Family and CPU patches on 12.1.3

Hi All,

We are planing to apply the oracle released patch on 12.1.3.Currently we are using the Financila and HRMS modules.Please suggest what type of patching is required for application.

I have go through the some blogs and they are suggested to apply CPU and Family patches on 12.1.3 but we don't know the difference between CPU and Family patch.Please suggest what type of patch need to be applied in 12.1.3
