Nic Bonding issue
how does one log a call with support on OEL? Ive never opened a call before for OEL. we're fully licenced, I dont see OEL or linux anywhere as a choice on the support SR home page. Should there be?
this is my issue
Dual NICs separate switches.
Test Eth1 works
Test Eth2 works
Configure Bond0. mod=active/backup with the 2 cards. Simple ping from server2 on same subnet to bond. Works.
Pull cable from eth1, eth2 becomes master, bond works, simple ping still works..
Put eth1 cable back in, pull eth2, bond fails! bond reports eth1 is master and link is alive but simple ping is failing from server2
