Forms Documentation 11gr2

Hello,

I am upgrading from forms 10 to 11gR2 on Windows7.  Just starting!

I have installed:

  JDK 64 bit (jdk-7u60-windows-x64.exe)

WLS 10.3.6 64 bit (wls1036_generic.jar)

OFR 11.1.2.2 (ofm_frmrpts_win_11.1.2.2.0_64_disk1_1of2 and ofm_frmrpts_win_11.1.2.2.0_64_disk1_2of2)

I can create a basic form and run it. so far so good.

I have found a document called Oracle® Fusion Middleware Forms Services Deployment Guide 11g Release 2 (11.1.2)

at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24269_01/doc.11120/e24477.pdf but in chapter 4 it refers to Enterprise manager as the definitive way of managing the forms services (Ch4).  Do I have to do install EM and do it this way or can I just edit files?  Is there a manual which describes how to manage it with the wls console?
