Some questions about how to decide to set recordsize/blocksize (vmware/mysql) & compress benefit/pen

Hi, All

I would like to ask the recordsize/blocksize with ZS3-2.

Q1.
I have configured the ZS3-2  with VMware ESXi 5.5 via FC SAN config.
Cu requested me 5 LUNs for Vmware  on ZS3-2.


OS datastore 2TB (OS is Windows)
Dedicated datastore#1 10TB
Public datastore#1    10TB

I will plan to blocksize of each LUNs with 64K.
Am I correct ?

When I see the http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/sun-unified-storage/documentation/bestprac-zfssa-vsphere5-1940129.pdf, there be mentioned as recordsize (NFS case) / p. 12
And on the page 46, there is a figure of NFS/FC/... is it recordsize and blocksize same  ?
