To change Date in Service, Amortization Start Date after depreciation has already run

Hi Oracle Fixed Assets Team,

Business has added an Asset in April-2014 for CHF 2395.97 and after that Depreciation has already been run three times in May, June & July.

Business wants to change the Date Placed in Service to 05-MAY-2014 and also Amortization date to any date in May-2014 as from PRORATE basis it shall calculate from beginning of May-2014 month only.

Error: APP-OFA-48677: There has been retirement, reinstatement, or revaluation after the specified Amortization Start Date.
