Hello Everyone,

When working with Enterprise Manager and deploying agents it is mandatory that root.sh is run and runs without errors.   Root.sh registers the agent software with the central inventory which in turn enables the agent life-cycle operations to be performed later (e.g. patching, upgrade, etc.).   Running root.sh sets the nmo root id on the host so the agent can authenticate as the root user then switch to the install user of the agent to perform the required operations

You will get various "NMO" errors if it is not run or it is run
