Engineering Mass Change - Quantities

I'm working with my production engineering team, and they have a large number of items to replace, but we're trying to find the most efficient method.

On a number of our assemblies, we have two items that will now be replaced with a new item.  From what I understand, the mass change function in R12.1.3 Engineering will let us do this by disabling the two old components, and adding the new replacement component.  This will then only update the assemblies where the two old components exist.  So, for example COMP1 and COMP2, and being replaced by COMP3.
