Subject: Siebel OpenUI : F9 Siebel Email Client Email Template Text Changes Erased when mail sent in IE10
We are seeing an issue with OpenUI in Internet Explorer 10 ( IE10 ).
Steps to recreate:
Open IE10
Login to Siebel CRM OpenUI.
Find a Service Request. Hit F9. The Siebel Email Client window should pop-up.
Select a pre-defined template.
The template text should fill in.
Modify the body of the email (add some text).
Send the e-mail.
When the e-mail is received, we are not seeing the "modified text" that was added to the e-mail body. We are only seeing the original template text from the e-mail body. When mail is sent from IE10, whatever text the user put into the e-mail body in the Siebel Email Client is removed and the template is sent.
