BI Publisher 11g Upgrade

We just updated to BI Publisher 11g. All of our users have the 10g Add in (thus all of our Templates  - like our transcript - were created with the 10g Add in). I've heard there is some backward incompatibility issues with 11g, such as we cannot edit the 10g templates with the 11g Add In and we should need to re-create them from to be compatible with the 11g Add In. Has anyone had experience with this transition or had issues?
