CC12cR4 with ASM using OMF and NO Repository DB Template

I am installing Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Release 4 on Oracle Linux 6 update 5.  Oracle Database 12c Release 1 will service as Repository.  I will have one system for the Repository and one for the OMS.

I would like to pre-configure management repository and use Oracle ASM (Oracle Restart - understand deprecated) with OMF. This process needs to be manual since a DB12cR1 template doesn't exist yet.

My question is:

If I manually perform the pre-configuration of the repository database but DON'T create the Management Tablespace, Configuration Data Tablespace and JVM Diagnostic Tablespace, can I install CC12cR1 with Repository setup with Oracle ASM using OMF?  My concern is whether the datafiles need to exist prior to CC12cR4 installation and whether the datafiles names must adhere to specific name/name convention?
