Is it possible to set Cumulative Total Approval Limit for an Approver for specific period in Oracle

Dear All,

       Is it possible to set a Cumulative Total Approval Limit for a period in Approval hierarchy ?. One of our clients is looking for risk management features in Purchasing Approvals. For a position and for a specific period a cumulative total limit is set and beyond that the approver has no authority to approve the document.

Example, Position1 has approval limit of 50000 for individual document. For a calender year, an Approver with Position1 can only approve upto 500000 worth of cumulative Document's total i.e. total of all the previous approved documents must not cross 500000 for an year. Once the Position1 has reached the Total limit set for an year, Document should skip Position1 and go to next Position directly for approval or as set in the Hierarchy.
