Primavera Unifier integration with external systems

Hi,

I am looking for the various options available in Unifier for integration. In P6, we have got API, Web Services, Events etc which can be used for integrating with other systems.

In Unifier, I have got a document from the Oracle community about the webservices. Do we have other options like API or events ?

Also, can anyone please let me know about the skill sets required to be involved in the development, will Java experience be enough or do we need JavaScript/.NET experience as well..
