eAM: Asset Genealogy Conversions

Hi Team,

I ma trying to Import the Asset Numbers, with its Parent included in the Same template.

Another eAM: Asset Genealogy Conversions another program for asset genealogy to import relation type (I assume relation type a Parent - Children Relation).

My Question is Can't we use the Same Asset  Import Program to import the asset Number and its parent asset. or first import all Parent and Child Assets and then only run Genealogy. What extra things this Genealogy program is going to do.

Please suggest.
