After patch Available unreconciled not working

When working with Unreconciled bank lines and looking for Available Payment (AP) transactions, we are now not finding the Number (payment number) due to the leading zero.  (If I remove the leading zero on the find transactions form - it will find the payment).

In the past this has been working. Unreconciled 0123456 from the bank lines would FIND the Available 123456 payment and show it for reconciliation on the "available transactions" screen.

Is this a known issue and is there a solution (besides telling the customer to remove the leading zero that autopopulates on the find transactions form).
