Auto Accounting rules and Misc Trans Clearing Account

I am trying to modify an auto accounting rule in project.  The function is Misc Trans Clearing account.  I have a 7 segments accounting flexfield.  The second segment is Store.  I am trying to change the rule from a Constant type to a Parameter based rule.  There is and existing rule named Store from Class Code.  The set up is as follows: Intermiediate Source - Parameter, Value - Class Code, the segment value is Intermediate Value.

I can successfully use this rule in the Store segment for the Misc Trans Cost Account.  I cannot use the same rule in the Store segment for the Misc Trans Clearing Account function.
