Upgrade agent console 12.1.0.3 management server

I've upgraded a number of agents using the console method from 12.1.0.2 to 12.1.0.3 - I noticed a backup folder is created during the installation and upgrade

I cannot find any documentation on how to regress back to the original 12.1.0.2 install using this backup or what the regression steps are to revert an upgraded agent should you wish to do so
