Cancel Sales Order W line results closing WO?

Hi there,

I would like to know if there is any existing documents regarding the following scenario:

I creaete a W line type Sales order (Qty 1000), that generate WO with parts. I partial ship multiple times and Sales Order shows split lines. The last line with remaining quantity 200. Now, what happens to Work Order line if I cancel remaining line (Qty 200) from Sales Order? Should the related WO commitment get relased? Is there any existing document address this functionality? I appreciate any feedback on this.
