Using OVM to designate pcie bus

edited Jul 24, 2014 3:02PM in Oracle VM (OVM) (MOSC) Question

FYI, I am a new to the VM world and learning as I go along, so forgive me if I as stupid questions.  This is my setup to date...    I have setup a test suite with 3 sparc T4-1 servers with VM Agent installed, 2 x_86 machines running vm server, a NFS file server, a web server, and a server running Oracle Linux/ VM management console.  So far I have been able to load virtual machines on both the sparc servers as well as the x_86 servers.

Is there a way to use Oracle VM Manager to designate specific pci slots for a virtual machine?  I have looked through Oracle VM, User's Guide for Release 3.2 and can't find the answer.  I have ran across a few guides showing CLI setups for the sparc servers, but haven't went any further other than skimming the manuals for fear of messing up the functionality through the VM Manager.

Howdy, Stranger!
