System Items Flexfield

We have INV 12.1.3 in production. There are three segments in System Items Flexfield. Every segment is a number. Consequently, the item code looks like this: 130.4011.1479. The problem is that the last segment's sequence reached its limit of 9999. Please, advise how to resolve the problem.
