Database fails when trying to start it

I came back from vacation today and realized that one of my oracle test databases had been down for a week.

The Enterprise Manager webinterface tells me that the "Database Instance" is down and the "Agent Connection to Instance" has failed with error: "TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor"

I tried to do a startup from the Enterprise Manager interface, but no luck. I get the following error:

Database mountet.

ORA-03113: EOF on communication channel
