10.2.0.3 disk crashed, restored from cold backup and files were missing. support had me create new o

10.2.0.3 on windows 2008 server.

restored cold backup from tape and some of the binary files were missing so support had me create a new oracle home on another disk.

I assume I now need to get the new oracle home linked to the database files? what are the steps for that? support said I need a new case to do that part?
