E1 Pages Background color

Hi .

I followed the instructions and changed the backround.png from E1PageGenerator_v4.0\template_e1page\img  so that it has a different color.  When I click on home.html, it displays with the new background color.  However when I load it into JDE via P982400 and click view it does not show custom bakground color.  Does not show new background color after publishing also.

Any idea why the custom background color is not displayed in JDE.
