Oracle Developer (Forms & Reports) 6i on Windows 7

Hi,

We use Oracle Developer (Forms & Reports) 6i (Patchset 19) on Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2.  Our desktop platform is upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7.  We are having trouble installing Oracle Developer 6i and Oracle 8 ANO on Windows 7.  Doc ID 1112213.1 shows that Developer 6i is not certified with Windows 7.  A certification search shows that Oracle Developer (Forms & Reports) 6i (Patchset 19 & lower) is the only certified version with Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2. 

While we can (eventually with compatibility mode) get Oracle Developer 6i to install on Windows 7 we cannot install Oracle ANO.  Given that Doc ID 1112213.1 shows that Developer 6i is not certified with Windows 7 is there any point in trying to 'force' this to work (with hacks/etc) if Oracle won't support the config?
