Open UI: Applet Corruption when using Toggle Applet and the screen is Refreshed

We are seeing an issue where we use Toggle Applets in a view to minimize screen real estate.  So, for instance, a view that has a List Applet for Order Entry over an Audit Trail detail applet.  Then, the user can "toggle" the List Applet for Order Entry to a Detail Applet for data entry/update.

If the user switches to the Detail Applet and then performs either a query for new data, changes columns displayed (if the alternate toggle applet is the list applet) or even uses "Show More" mode button then the screen refreshes and the view corrupts to unusable.  The user is left with an unusable view that they must either select another tab or close the application to correct.
