How many values listed in attribute

Hi, I need to know how many values are capable the attributes to handle with no problem. I have Band Width Attribute with  about 25 values  (1Mb,2Mb, etc). How many values could be added without causing issues during product configuration; or better, is there a optimus quantity of values?
