Dont Forget to Create Baseline AWR When Performance is Acceptable...

Make sure to create baseline AWR during good times.  So when bad performance surfaces, DBA or support can compare the two. Oracle will not automatically purge the baseline snapshots like it does other snapshots.  When comparing the bad report to good report,

a noticeable difference may appear, potentially pointing to the right direction to start the investigation.  So review our note on how to create baseline AWR and try it:
