Items misclassified as fixed assets

Hi All,

It was recently discovered that a bunch of items were capitalized in our FA system that should have been either expensed or billed to our affiliate.  Is there any way to "un-capitalize" a fixed asset that has depreciation taken besides adjusting current cost to 0 and retiring?
