high ,normal redundancy in asm disk mirroring and raid level

Hello,

Suppose we are using raid level 1 storage in this case mirroring would already be happening from storage perspective now if I use normal redundancy then according to this there would be 1 copy of data so would that ,ean actually that 2 copies of data is being done one at storage level and one at asm which is again actually going to be second copy in storage.
