Can we hide any of the links located on the left margin of the supplier entry page if we don't need

Typically we can control a lot of what appears on the forms with folders, functions and menu "customizations" but I don't know how to do this in the html pages. We are not using a lot of the functionality that is now available in Suppliers and I'd rather hide some of these links to reduce the users from getting confused. Is it possible to do so somehow? Thank you!
