Is it safe to use TP Attribute columns to hold additional information (OM)

Hi

We have run out of regular Descriptive Flexfields (DFF) i.e. ATTRIBUTE1, ATTRIBUTE2 etc on some our tables but still need to hold additional information.

I would like to know if the Trading Partner Attribute Flexfields (e.g. TP_ATTRIBUTE1, TP_ATTRIBUTE2 etc) can be activated and used to hold additional information, or they are used by the seeded EBS, or they may be overwritten by patches, upgrade etc.

e.g. is it safe to activate the Flexfield "Header Level Trading Partner Information" (Table OE_ORDER_HEADERS_ALL) and enter data and save data from the Sales Order form.
