Hello,

ASM spfile's location is in profile.xml file .Now how does clusterware startup asm instance by knowing the location of spfile in case spfile is located in asm diskgroup

I mean to say how does it read spfile since asm is not yet up then how it starts asm?

Same question is for voting disk file also .It's correct that we can get to know the voting disk file locatiom may be from profile.xml or asm disk header but question is how does cssd come up since voting file is not yet accessible because asm is not up although it knows location of voting file.

Howdy, Stranger!
