ASR in Maintenance

This morning I find the notice that ASR is in maintenance.

svcs -xv confirms:

State: maintenance since August  5, 2014 04:15:58 AM EDT

Reason: Restarting too quickly.

See: http://support.oracle.com/msg/SMF-8000-LF (Note: this link is 404)

       See: man -M /usr/share/man -s 1M asr-notify

       See: /var/svc/log/system-fm-asr-notify:default.log

Impact: This service is not running.

So, I check /var/svc/log/system-fm-asr-notify:default.log. It repeats the same sequence a half-dozen times:

Aug  5 04:15:58 Stopping because all processes in service exited.

Aug  5 04:15:58 Executing stop method (:kill).

Aug  5 04:15:58 Restarting too quickly, changing state to maintenance.

HUH? Can anyone tell me what the underlying problem is?

Howdy, Stranger!
