need to restore table tape

Hi Team,

I have one request to restore deleted records of 26th july. I have verified in logs and backup is completed to tape.

Whenever restore controlfile ,not able to restore as its telling looking for autobackup but at last restore is failed no valid backup piece or no autobackup found. I tried lot of options to restore but not able to.

Please any one suggest how to restore controlfile from tape.

I verified with backup team that tapes are available on that day.
