How to make Proport work based on another data series & NOT actual_quantity?

Hi,

I have a situation where the client needs to forecast 2 data streams (in 2 different fields inside SALES_DATA table) using 2 different engine profiles with different quantity_form expression pointing to the appropriate sales_data field for both the profiles.

Is there a way where I can control PROPORT procedure to consider generating proportions and deciding the young/dead/active combinations by looking at a column other than actual_quantity?

Please help with your ideas.
