Control/Fixed Staging Subinventory

we have subinventory FG1, FG2, FG3 to keep finish good, and when we shipped them out, we would like user to use STGFG0 subinventory as staging.

then we have also subinventory RP1, RP2, RP3 to keep return and repair stocks, and when we shipped them out after repair, we would like user to use STGRP0 subinventory as staging.

basically the concerns is FG* is asset subinventory and RP* is non-asset subinventory.

however, sometimes our users will did it wrongly, they use the wrong staging subinventory.

Question 1: is there a way to control or fixed the staging subinventory ?

Question 2: is there a way that we can 'validate and reject' or change the value of staging subinventory, when user initiated pick release?
