how to prevent dead lock issue when 2 LPNs with material putaway at the same time?

We are having issues where lot of records in RTI struck with error. We are seeing only one trend when this error happens. We receive material from the PO in multiple LPNs and when we do the putaway the RTP in ending up in error with Dead lock message in log file. Can you please suggest a way to prevent this from happening apart from making RTP incompatible
