Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Add datafile or increase maxbytes

Hi all,

One of my datafiles has reached the maxbytes of 34GB. My question is, is it better to increase maxbytes or add another datafile?

SO: Oracle Linux 6.5 64 bit

RDBMS: Oracle Database 11G R2.
