Goldengate Upgrade 11.2.1.0.5 to 12.1.2.0.1 without overwriting existing GGHOME

Hello Experts ,

We are looking to upgrade our OGG 11.2.1.9.5 Environment to 12.1.2.0.1 version . I was not able to find any specific for out of place upgrade (without overwriting) GGHOME .

Can you please let me know the steps for the same. If there is documentation/note id for that let me know.

Below is our env details.

Current OGG      : 11.2.1.0.5       Current DB         : 11.2.0.4.3       Replication : DML only  ( Uni-Directional)


Source ( which is being upgraded to 12c ) has Classic Capture setup   and the Pumps going to the target have RANGE function setup.   Target would remain 11.2.1.0.5 as we don't want to  upgrade both the environments at the same time So replicat with RANGE function will continue to function in
