History Data in Forecast Approval

Hello,

Could anyone please clarify where does History Data in Forecast Approval workbook come from?

As per 13.4.1 Administration guide / Generating and Approving a Forecast 4-11 - When the workbook is created, the Data Source measure is copied into History Data.

But I faced with the situation when if Data Source is not populated for several last weeks before the start date, History Data in Forecast Approval Workbook does not equal to Data Source.

I know that for the correct forecast, the data source should not have zero values, but why is History Data copied wrong?

  • Then when populate the data source measure until the start date, History becomes equal to Data Source.
