R12.1.3.Update supplier line address from a to b value gives error address name already in user

Hi,

The supplier has asked for change in his address from 1234 teakwook to 2823 dogwood. When updating the supplier address book for the same the system does not update but gives error that address name is already in use.

There is no change to address name field. only the address line 1 is changing values. Why is the system not allowing to update the address? How to go about it?
