How is late interest calculated on existing interest debit memo where a downward adjustment was crea

Accrued 60 days of late interest on open invoices that were considered late.  Interest and ADMINcharges accrued as expected for being 60 days late.  A business decision was made to manually
adjust the interest and admin charges down 4 days after late interest accrued for 60days.  A manual line adjustment wascreated on the late interest and admin debit memos.  These invoices are now 103 days late and interest and admin fees did not accrue when they were 90 days late.   Does interest accrue differently if there was a manual adjustment on the actual interest and admin charge debit memo that was automatically generated from the accrue finance charge program?
